Discover Benefits Of Cardio Training For Martial Arts Athletes
If you think that to perform your martial arts techniques correctly is enough, think again.
Did you know that if you get into situation where you must use your martial arts skills, you lose up to 35% of your stamina?
That means that when you are in dangerous, intimidation or challenging situations, your feeling of fear takes over.
And when fear takes over, it also robs you of your cardio. Hear is beating faster, you need more oxigen into your brain cells.
If you are unable to cope with stressful situation like that, sooner or later you will run out of your gas (breath) and you will lose in that particular situation.
It could be inside the ring or outside. It does not matter.
Therefore more you train your cardio = put more stress on your cardiovascular system, gradually you will be able to control your breath, you will stay calm and will react accordingly.
